From Vietnam to Colorado

Anthony Troutner
October 23, 1952 - April 12, 2018
Anthony Troutner was born on October 23, 1952. He lived in Colorado for the majority of his life. He eventually joined the Army, serving in the Vietnam War and becoming a Specialist Fourth Rank. To do so, he had to complete two years of service and an officer and leadership cadet training course. Upon completion of the course, he would have had basic managerial duties and made the equivalent salary of a Corporal.[1] For a short time during his service, he was stationed in California.[2] His future wife, Robyn Troutner, was also stationed in El Cajon, California during this time, which is presumably how they met. Robyn Troutner was born on April 15, 1955, in Montana.[3] She later joined the U.S. Navy. Following their time in California, they moved to Adams County, Colorado in 1993, which is where they stayed for the remainder of their marriage.
Robyn Troutner passed away on February 20, 1995, and was buried in Fort Logan National Cemetery.[4] Anthony Troutner stayed in Colorado until his passing on April 12, 2018. Anthony Troutner was buried alongside his wife in Fort Logan National Cemetery. It is presumed that his remains were unclaimed due to the fact that there were no remaining members of his family. He and his wife never had children, and there was no evidence of his siblings having any kids either. His father, mother, siblings, and wife each passed before him, leaving no one to prepare proper arrangements.[5]
